Cyclocross

Cyclocross Events Cyclocross events are bicycle races that take place over varying terrain including roads, country or forest paths, and open terrain alternating in such a way as to ensure changes in the pace of the race and allow the riders to recuperate after difficult sections.
Events take place in all weather conditions and are run on a closed circuit course ranging between 2.5 and 3.5 km in length. Obstacles are strategically placed and require riders to dismount and carry their bike over or through the obstacle and remount on the other side. Since the course is small and compact, it provides spectators with excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with the racing excitement.
Cyclocross racing requires riders to have great balance, acceleration and versatility to changing conditions to move through tight turns and varying terrain.
